Frequently asked questions What payment methods do you accept?
I accept payments via Paypal.
Purchasing with Paypal is fast, safe and easy. Simply press the yellow "Add to Cart" button that's near the price amount, and it will open a new tab to the Paypal website, and follow the instructions from there.
I also accept instant bank transfer (UK only, please email before purchase for instructions).
All shipping is free.
At the moment I'm able to ship here in the United Kingdom, and also to USA, Canada and Japan. If you live outside of these countries please get in touch before you order to confirm I can ship there.
Items are posted within 24 - 48 hours of payment Monday to Friday (actual delivery times are down to the courier). It usually takes around 2 to 4 days for the UK, and between 7 to 21 days for global shipping (USA, Canada, Japan).
What is your returns policy?
I want you to feel safe and secure when shopping here at Nica Brac. You can cancel your order, within 30 days of placing the order, just email me to let me know. There is also 30 day no-quibble return policy on all items. You can return your order, for any reason, within 30 working days of your order, starting the day you receive the goods. Please get in touch with me at email@example.com within 30 days of receipt, to let me know that you wish to return the item. You don't need to give a reason. Then return your purchase for a full refund (please note that the customer pays return shipping costs and this won't be refunded). If I have accidentally mis-described any item, or your item arrives damaged, then you are entitled to a full refund, including your postage.
Do you take commissions, custom orders or requests?
I'm unable to take any commission orders. However if you have a request (such as a certain gemstone that isn't in the online shop, or have an idea in mind) please do get in touch, as there may be suitable jewellery in back room stock that simply hasn't been uploaded to the shop yet.
For all enquiries please email Nic at: firstname.lastname@example.org
I answer emails daily, Sunday to Friday (Saturday is my day off).
The office and returns address is:
Seven East Street
(Please note my office is not open to the public).
About the gemstones and precious metals used in Nica Brac jewellery:
I work with untreated natural gemstones, minerals and rocks which I source from rough and cut and polish myself in my small lapidary workshop. I find all types of stone beautiful, and especially enjoy working with stones that are often overlooked, ignored, or because of some perceived 'flaw' classed as unsuitable for jewellery and destined to be thrown away.
Precious Metals: I source all precious metals from two well known British jewellery industry suppliers, one in Hatton Garden, London, and the other in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. As I work in precious metals, you may wish to view the UK hallmarking Guide from Sheffield Assay Office. (PDF file, opens in new window). All my work contains sterling silver weighing less than 7.78g, which means that it doesn't need to be hallmarked by a UK Assay Office (though it is stamped with a simple '925' mark to let you know that it's sterling silver).
